Rejection

Many are rejected because of their unusualness; they do not follow the crowd. Some are rejected because they refuse to act as others do. Another cause of rejection is cultural differences (foreigners often feel rejected). Rejection can be the result of carelessness; one may overlook things that are valued by others. Rejection is a type of failure that includes societal disapproval and reduces one’s efforts to achieve their goal.

Some people have difficulty recovering from rejection, but the Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 11: 28, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest.” Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour, had been rejected by His time’s religious and political systems. The Lord will never reject you because you are one of His children, and He loves you. Let Him restore your soul from this bondage of rejection.

Prayer

Father, you said in Your Word that I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, You are a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Allow me to find favor with You and people in thy mighty sight. In the Name of Jesus, AMEN.
