The originator of the family is established by God in His inaugural act of the marriage between a man and a woman. The Bible further defines Gods instruction on how to fulfill the foundation of marriage. The church is to help build godly families, and godly families also help build the church.
It is a man part to cleave unto (stick to, be united to, remain faithful to) his wife. God planned that they should love one another; complimenting His word as the scriptures describes what marriage should be. The closer they follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, the closer their relationship to each other becomes.
God made Eve from a rib out of Adams side to walk beside him as a helper, the scripture says and He gave them dominion over all the works of His hands. God used both men and women in special ways to establish His Kingdom.
Satan fears a strong unity in a marriage with the power of the two in agreement, he tries to fights it from all sides. Both the husband and wife should realize they are a Godly team encouraging each other in their spiritual growth with respect to one another in the fear of the Lord. God has formed both male and female with strong and week points so that each will complement one another.
Prayer
We thank you Heavenly Father for putting us together. Strengthen our marriage and keep us strong preferring one another while we give you all of the glory and honor. We ask You to supply our need according to how You see what we need. In Jesus Name AMEN.
