Question: "Am I living according to scripture?"
Answer: It's not enough for you to read the scripture. Your life must be lived by the word of God and not by our head.
With your heart you say I love you, yet with the same heart you say I don’t love you anymore.
Paul said in Philippians 1:20-21 "According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
He’s saying I bury my ways to live Christ's way so I may live like Christ Jesus.
In Galatians 5:22 –23 there is a certain attribute for the life of a believer in Christ as the fruit of the Spirit of God, which is demonstrated as love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control; and no law or anyone can bring a charge against you.
All true Christians, who are in Christ, can not let the lusts and affections of the body control their lives.
Knowledge is power; you can only operate with the power of the Spirit of God when knowledge of the word or scripture is applied daily.
People, our families and children, need to see spiritual maturity throughout the body of believers who call themselves Christians.
Some Hindrances of our Walk can be
Traditional Our actions personally Function in what you think verses what scripture speaks Prayerlessness UnbeliefTheses are just a few of many things in our lives which adjustments need to be made to.
What we focus on we'll make room for
Isaiah 43:7 "Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him."
Isaiah the Prophet is saying of God that everyone who bears my name (Christians, Catholic, all that calls unto Jesus) God has created for his glory, those God formed and those he made.
If you are reading this: stop for a moment and give God the glory, worship Him, thank Him and praise Him.
Lord we thank you, Lord I worship You, Lord I love you, I give You all of the glory, I give You all of the praise, there’s no one like you, Oh how I love You, Father You are so good,
Lord Jesus You deserve all the honour, You deserve all of the glory, we praise You, I praise You, as a deer chasted by hounds gets thirsty, I'm thirsty for You Lord. I call on Your great name. You alone is Holy, You alone is righteous, You alone is Christ Jesus my Savior.
Thank you Lord for loving me, Thank you Lord for giving Your life on the cross. Thank you for Your blood that flows down the cross for me, and there no one like you Jesus. For You are the only wise and true God. That’s Jesus Christ.
Praise The Lord
